Weekend Gravel Ride Updates August 2-4 2025

We have a few updates for this coming BC Day weekend. Due to the wildfires on Nanaimo River Road, we have decided to make the following changes to avoid that area:

On Saturday August 2:

The Coal City Cycles Gravel ride will start from the shop, rather than out at the end of Nanaimo River Road.

The Green Gravel ride will meet at Parkville Serious Coffee for a an alternate coffee loop

And on Monday August 4, Eric is planning a gravel adventure in Port Alberni. Route and further details will be posted to the calendar shortly.

Don’t forget that the Strava Challenge make up weeks run from Monday August 4- Sunday August 17. This is your chance to make up any segments you missed, or improve your times. Check out discord for leaderboards and join in the fun. There will be prizes for placing and participation.
