NEW CYCLING CLUB IN NANAIMO On Tuesday evening, a general meeting of people interested in the development of a new road cycling club in Nanaimo approved the formation of a steering committee to set up registration and affiliation of a club. The primary foci of the new organisation will be competitive and recreational road cycling and cyclo-cross, with consideration given to youth development and triathlete involvement. The steering committee will report back to a second general meeting on January 11th., 2011.
