There are many great sites that contain very funny stuff about cycling and cyclists. One of the best (which you may have found) is Sheldon Brown's collection of interesting inventions to help you get more out of your chosen sport and pastime. Here is the link to Sheldon's  hilarious stuff.

This Thursday's trainer session at Pleasant Valley School features a great video covering Bjarne Riis'  experiences with team CFC.  Well worth watching. Janna will put a suggested routine on the white board.

For all those existing and new members of Mid Island Velo Association, please note that the club is affiliated to Cycling BC and that you should fill in "MIVA" as your club.

The MIVA clothing order is ready to go. The new designs for shorts and jerseys are radically different from last year's. Since there are only four orders from members, the club has ordered a selection of items in medium large and extra large sizes. Socks, leg warmers and summer vests are included this year.

If your size isn't there TOUGH. Everyone had the opportunity to order up to two months ago.

However, There will be a supplementary order going in in about six weeks.
