Thanks to Katy Condon and Paul Thompson, the College Drive Hill Climb went off without a hitch. Pity that more people didn't show for this excellent climb. Good to see Abigail and Aiden Hare out. Their regular participation over the last few weeks has pushed them up to the top of the series in their categories. Next Thursday is the last hill climb and also the last event in the 2012 time trial series, so lets see lots of entries for the Duomont climb. Registration at 6pm at Pleasant Vallet Community Centre, first rider off at 6.31pm.

MIVA was very well represented in most of the categories at the Gorge Park Cross on the Rock race on Sunday. The second clinic in MIVA's four week series of CX workshops and races is this Tuesday in Beban Park. Start is at 5pm in the BMX compound off Labieux Road, Nanaimo. Janna Gillick and Paul Thompson are the instructors but they would welcome some help in setting out and tidying up. The first clinic was very well-attended, with fourteen riders showing up. It will be great to see even more attendees this week.
