The crit on Tuesday will be set up as a clinic for women who are interested in getting criterium experience. We will run two 20min events, with a short break in between the two in order to get some advice from some of the more experienced club members who will be on the sidelines.
Although this event will serve as preparation from the five members of the women's team racing in Maple Ridge in two weeks, I'd like to encourage other women to join us!

A number of MIVA members have already indicated that they will be taking advantage of the great Marin Bike Deal. To see a couple of the top road bikes in the Marin range, got to Island Cycle in Parksville or Cowichan Cycles in Duncan. The owner of Island Cycles commented very favourably on the bikes and getting them at way below retail will be an absolute steal.
Our Monday night rides are set to start on 22-April-2013. Sorry, but due to a scheduling conflict, we are delayed a week. Similar to last year, these rides are geared towards beginner and intermediate riders but I'd like to encourage all members to come and give one of these rides a try. When we hit ~10 riders last year we split into two groups - it would be great if we could have an "A" and a "B" group every single week this summer!
As you can see from the schedule, we've selected a few different starting locations. If you can ride to the start, please do so. Otherwise, please park so as to be courteous of any local businesses and their customers.
