Sunday Road Rides start this weekend!

Plus breaking news: Fast Gravel Ride launches Sunday April 19

Meeting 9 AM Sundays - at Linley Valley Bike Path East (just off Hammond Bay road)

This will be an approx. 70-100KM semi drop gravel ride led by Evan and Jaymi, suitable for advanced gravel riders comfortable with maintaining a higher pace. Riders with an FTP of approx. 3.5 watts/KG+ FTP would be most comfortable on this ride.

These rides will run on Sundays April 19 through June with the exception of BC Gravel Series dates. Head on over to Discord if you have any questions about this exciting new ride.

Tues Apr 14: Tuesday Development ride starts, 6:30pm. This year we will meet in the gravel lot at the corner of Westwood and East Wellington as the Cavalotti Lodge site is no longer available

Sun Apr 19: Spring challenge starting at Maffeo Sutton Park. Meet at White Sails after to socialize. Check calendar for details and route options

Sun Apr 19: Fast Gravel ride led by Evan and Jaymi, meet at Linley Valley Bike Path East (just off Hammond Bay road) at 9am

Wed Apr 22: Wednesday Night Intermediate/Advanced Road Ride led by Angelina, meet at Arrowsmith Bikes at 6:15pm

Wednesday Night Int/Adv Road Ride is back!

We are excited to announce that the Wednesday Night Ride is back for 2026! Led by Angelina, starting April 22, this intermediate to advanced road ride is a chance to push up the pace and ride with stronger riders. Ride will be 1.5-2.5 hours long, meeting at 6:15 pm at Arrowsmith Bikes Nanaimo location. Pace will be brisk in the range of 24-35km/h.

2026 Club Registration Now Open!

We are looking forward to another great year in cycling! MIVA membership gains you access to weekly road and gravel rides, friendly competition via our Strava challenges, and special events such as our Spring and Summer challenges, and destination gravel rides exploring new locations. Gravel rides are expected to start in February and road rides in April, keep an eye on our calendar for all the latest.

MIVA is an IMBA affiliate club, insured under Oasis Insurance, so Cycling BC membership is not required in order to become a MIVA member. As members of a IMBA affiliated club, MIVA members are eligible for discounts on optional personal liability, accident, or physical bike damage insurance coverage through Pedal Power.
