The warmer weather is here and we have some fun rides planned in addition to our regular weekly rides, so keep checking the calendar and Discord for more details!
This coming Saturday Jun 27 we will have a Gravel Social Ride meeting 9am at the end of the Pavement on Nanaimo River Road.
Wednesday July 1 we have a Gabriola Gravel/ trail ride
And Sunday July 12 we will do a special Cowichan ride in place of the usual Sunday Road ride, more details to follow shortly.

Saturday May 9: This weekend’s Fast Gravel ride has been moved from Sunday and will meet tomorrow Saturday May 9 instead. The Coal City Gravel ride will also be meeting at the end of the pavement on Nanaimo River Road, for a ride out to Fourth lake. This is a route suitable for a wide range of riders.
Saturday May 16: Green gravel will meet at a new location for a ride to Timberlands lake
Monday May 18:Victoria day ride planned to Buffalo Hump
Sunday May 24: Horne lake/ Cook Creek Gravel loop

The call has been made, unfortunately tonight’s Tuesday Night Development ride will be canceled for a second week in a row (I know!). Forecasted scattered showers and wet roads aren’t a great combination for a Developmental ride, so we will hold off one more week for better conditions.
There is good news for our Intermediate and Advanced riders: the Wednesday Night rides start tomorrow! This is a good chance to push up the pace with stronger riders. Check out the calendar for more details.
