The Duncan/Cycle Therapy contingent made another return to the TT, all cutting 1-2 minutes off their last time, proving that knowing this course helps. Six racers tonight were making their debut on the MIVA course as well, all putting in great times.

Abigail Hare took the youth female crown with a fast 41:25, her previous two times this season have been 43:50 and 45:06, so she put the pedal down in a big way tonight.

In the youth male category we had a record 4 participants come out, including first time racer Tobin Bergman (12) who rode an excellent 39:24 averaging 30.4km/hr and almost holding his dad off at the line. Ayden Houle took the title setting a new youth male record in 33:10 knocking his own record down by 39 seconds. Ian Gillmore was off his normal blistering pace due to dehydration but he vowed to come back hard next week. Aiden Hare took 3rd with a 41:05, his seasons best, and like his sister he did it in style taking over 3 minutes off his last 20k.

In the female category Janna Gillick kept her streak alive with her fourth consecutive win, but more importantly set a new female course record in 31:02 (38.7km/hr)! Lorrie Baildham took second in 33:35, her fastest time ever on the 20k. Cycle Therapy's Lynn Sanderson took the last podium spot in 36:25, taking almost a minute off her PB and narrowly edging out her friend Amy Meerdink by a scant 10 seconds.

Last, the male group was won by Paul Auton in 28:37, followed by Peter Stevenson who rode to a fast 30:01 in his first ever TT on this course. TT Series Leader Sean Lunny of Rock City Cycles was only two seconds behind to take third place while setting his PB in 30:03. Orphee Bernard currently tied for 2nd place in the TT Series Overall, set a huge PB taking 1 minute 1 second off to take fourth in 30:24.

Next week is a 40k TT, sign up now via webscorer . Youth points are calculated on 20k, but if a youth rider wishes to race the full 40 we will score it via their first 20k lap while also timing their entire 40. TT
