Nanaimo River Road Only three riders out on a perfect evening. Don Gillmore was a minute slower than expected as he has been doing some heavy track training in preparation for the provincial championships. Kyle Waring did a personal best, beating his previous best by well over a minute, and Janna Gillick beat her best time for the year by 1 second.

In the men's series competition, there is only one point between 2^nd and 3^rd., 2 points between 5^th. And 6^th. and 0ne point separates 9^th. and tenth. However, the women's and youth categories are pretty well set.
