SCHLECK UNSHIPS CHAIN

SHOULD CONTADOR HAVE WAITED? In today's 2nd Pyrenean stage of the TDF, Andy Schleck unshipped his chain on the final climb. Contador, who was with Menchov and Sanchez, looked back and then accelerated. Schleck lost 25-30 seconds before finally getting underway and lost a further 9 seconds in the descent to the finish.
