FOR THE NON ANGLO-SAXONS ON VANCOUVER ISLAND

This is a (sort of) cycling web site but occasionally we pass on information that is in the area of general interest. Many of the inhabitants of Vancouver Island are of British extraction but, for the  delight? and edification of those who are not, and for all our other non-WASP readers, here is a brief history of the English language.
